Perrysburg Chorale
Performance groups were barred from performing and rehearsing during COVID. But Perrysburg Chorale persevered and is coming back stronger than ever.
Perrysburg Chorale is a safe place where anyone who loves to sing can come together to make beautiful, fun and engaging music. They host community concerts and events that you didn’t even know you wanted. Outreach to the community with Celtic Concerts and Medieval Fair fundraisers bring NW Ohio residents coming back every year asking when the next one will be. Frequently these events are standing room only.
Anyone can join the Perrysburg Chorale. Many people sing in high school and then some in college. But, if you aren’t in a church choir, where do you sing. Perrysburg Chorale is the place to come back to singing. No auditions and arms wide open to all, while under a talented director, makes this group a unique entity. Along the way you might learn some interesting facts or helpful techniques. You might even form some new friendships along the way. And, you don’t have to live in Perrysburg. This is a space where people can return to, or continue, their musical journey.
Not ready to get up on stage and sing, do the next best thing . . . attend one of their concerts. All their concerts are free to the local community. Bring a friend and then after the concert spread the word about how much you enjoyed the music. And if you are so moved to make a donation – that would be wonderful too!
The arts will always be needed to fill the well inside people. The Perrysburg Chorale is proud to bring some of that much needed joy to the area. Keep singing; whether it makes you smile or weep, it will always touch your soul.
The Perrysburg Chorale is an all-inclusive choir that was founded 25 years ago as a place for musicians to share in their passion for singing. The goal of the Perrysburg Chorale is to get passionate people together and share in some music that they then can share with others during performances.
